Stanley M. Rosenblatt is recognized as one of America’s great trial lawyers. Along with his wife and law partner Susan, they challenged the Tobacco Industry’s half-century of lies about the harms caused by their products. That case resulted in the single largest verdict in American history – $145 billion.
Stanley also achieved numerous record verdicts in previous personal injury and medical malpractice cases, and he successfully defended a first-degree murder charge in a groundbreaking euthanasia trial that made national headlines.
Somehow Stanley also found the time to author five books – “Trial Lawyer” – “Malpractice and Other Malfeasances” – “Murder of Mercy” – “Justice Denied” – “The Divorce Racket”.
He also found the time to host two television programs on the Public Broadcasting Service – “Within the Law” and “Israel Diary”. On “Within the Law” he interviewed some of the country’s most prominent lawyers, judges, and civil rights leaders. On “Israeli Diary” he interviewed prime ministers, presidents, and defense ministers including Ariel Sharon, Yitzhak Rabin, and Shimon Peres. Also, Arab leaders including the Defense Minister of Jordan.
Stanley and Susan are the parents of nine children and have been blessed with over thirty grandchildren. Susan, great mother, grandmother, and brilliant lawyer, underwent 8 c-sections. To her the whole process of creating a human being was miraculous.
